Luc Salvas

Luc Salvas is a Canadian professional pool player. His quick-paced speed pool play earned him the nickname "Machine Gun".

Luc has won numerous North American and international tournaments. He was awarded the “World Pool Master” in Holland in 2004 for overall tournament successes and his trick shot. He finished 3rd in both ESPN’s The Challenge of Champion in 2001 and 7-Ball tournament in 2003 and went on to also finish 3rd in 2004 in the Philadelphia tournament. He is a several time Quebec Champion at 8-Ball, 9-Ball, 10-Ball, Straight Pool and Snooker. Salvas is the current president of the Federation of Billiards in Quebec and has been touted the “Trick Shot Artist” of international billiards. He currently is the owner of 2 bars and billiard rooms, and enjoys tennis, swimming, baseball and poker and lives with his wife Celine and daughter Laurie-Eve in Quebec.In 2006 he won the International Speed Pool Tournament, with a US$50,000 winner-take-all purse.
